Puidukoda has received the KOMO certification for vacuum and pressure treated wood in accordance with BRL 0601. This is an important quality mark confirming that our wood preservation process meets the recognised and strictly controlled requirements of the European construction sector.
KOMO Quality Mark is widely recognised and trusted in the European construction sector. It is not a mandatory label, but an independent confirmation that production and processes comply with clearly defined and verifiable requirements.
Simply put – it is proven quality, not just a promise.
What Does the KOMO Certification Mean for Puidukoda Products?
The KOMO certificate confirms that Puidukoda’s wood preservation is carried out according to a controlled, documented and regularly audited process. This includes:
- vacuum and pressure treatment in accordance with BRL 0601
- clear definition of where and under which conditions the wood can be used
- compliance with applicable legal and environmental requirements
- consistent and repeatable quality that remains predictable over long-term use
The KOMO quality mark provides assurance that our planed timber and other wood products meet the specified usage conditions and durability requirements.
The certificate is issued and supervised by SKH, an accredited and independent body that evaluates companies engaged in wood preservation treatment in accordance with the BRL 0601 standard.
The KOMO certification confirms that quality and durability are systematically managed in Puidukoda’s production and monitored daily throughout the entire value chain. It also represents the next step in our goal to provide reliable and long-lasting wood solutions both in Estonia and in international construction markets.
