Puidukoda opened a new production facility
On June 8th, we ceremoniously inaugurated the new production facility. As a result of a 4.5 million investment, the production process becomes significantly more efficient, deliveries faster, and the quality even better. The main part of the construction consists of the production building along with the equipment, and in addition, there is a site that we acquired ten hectares of land for.
Eveli Opmann, the CEO of the sawmill, said, ‘By improving efficiency step by step and moving up the value chain, it is possible to ensure our long-term position in the market. The idea of Estonia as an innovative green tiger could gain momentum with the support of the forestry and wood industries.’
At the opening, the ribbon was cut by Mulgi municipality mayor Imre Jugomäe, the CEO of the company’s parent company Group Rose, Bertrand Yraeta, and our CEO Eveli Opmann. The guests of the opening event had the opportunity to explore the new production facility and witness an aerial acrobatics performance.
